Now let’s move onwith the list of 4 must-watch (a-100-Pāsento-kind-of must) winter 2026 anime and where you can watch them.

Let’sdive in.But before that, just a touch of alert called…

Spoiler Alert: This article is not for complete newbies to the series. Unless, of course, if you want spoilers to understand the anime.

Jujutsu Kaisen: The Culling Game Part 1

Season: 3

Platform: Crunchyroll and Netflix

The stakes are higher in the season with the introduction ofnew characters and intense fight scenes. This makes the top of my list, simply because I have been hooked. And yes, maybe in the start due to Gojo Satoru, but the story hooks you like metal to magnets.

In this season, Yuji confronts the aftermath of Sakuna’s real power and the massacre he commits in Shibuya. The guilt grapples with him, and he knows there’s no way out of it, but through. With Gojo sealed away, Yuji must face the judgment delivered by the Jujutsu Society. And his executioner is none other than Gojo’s former pupil.

Meanwhile, Kenjaku is no longer hiding behind the face of Geto. He sets to unveil his real plan in motion, threatening to overthrow Japan and the world into pure chaos.

Hell’s Paradise

Season: 2

Platform: Crunchyroll and Netflix

Season 2 will continue with Gabimaru (the Hollow) on the island of Shinsenkyo. This season will also be just as dark as the first one. The famed executioner Sagiri is tasked to end Gabimaru’s life, but instead, she offers him the second path.

To be able to earn a pardon for his crimes, the ninja Gabimaru is tasked with traveling to Shinsenkyo and bringing the “Elixir of Life”. This elixir grants immortality and is in demand by the shogun (king). The mission isn’t so simple because no one has ever returned from the island, but if they have, they’ve gone insane.

Unaware of the real horrors of the land, Gabimaru, with ten other death row convicts,is sent on this journey. Hell’s Paradise Season 2 will unfold this journey and its perils for obtaining the elixir.

What will this hold for Gabimaru and his strange past? We’ll find out soon enough. I haven’t watched this one yet, but I’m planning to binge it tonight so I can watch season 2. I’m definitely interested in Gabimaru’s skills.

My Hero Academia: Vigilantes

Season: 2

Platform: Crunchyroll and Netflix

My Hero Academia: Vigilantes takes place five years before the events of season 1 and its epic finale. This is based on the spin-off manga and a prequel to the story of Deku, with many of the events in the season connecting to the main storyline.

In this one, the story follows Quirk user Koichi Haimawari, who isn’t licensed as a hero. But it doesn’t stop him from being kind and helping those in the streets, becoming popular with the heroes and police. He even has a friend, who is a street performer,KazuhoHaneyama.

One day, he meets a vigilante through an unexpected encounter. He is known as Knuckleduster, who recruits this duo into his team. From here, Koichi finds out what it truly means to be a hero, and it doesn’t require a powerful Quirk or a license as a hero. This offers a fresh take on the original series and what it means to be a hero for someone.

It’s a great one, especially if you love the beloved series’ main franchise. It is a fresh story from the same world, offers you amazing fight sequences, and some comedy on the side.

Oshi no Ko

Season: 3

Platform: Crunchyroll and Netflix

This one has my heart, and I can’t wait for this one either. Oshi no Ko stands out with its wildly unconventional premise. In the story, a doctor named GorouAmamiya is reincarnated as Aqua, the son of his former patient, the legendary Ai Hoshino. Later, his sister Ruby is also revealed to be a reincarnated soul. It begins as a strange but delving setup.

Soon, the story takes a dark turn, transforming the series into a supernatural murder mystery, layered with psychological thriller elements. Honestly, the layering of such dark elements won’t even feel a pinch, as it’s immaculately written and animated. The dark of it reminds me of the old series,Perfect Blue, from 1997, so this one is captivating. Though the animation is nothing like.

Season 3 is the continuation of Aqua and Ruby as they grow older and go into the entertainment industry, walking the path of their late mother. Fame, ambition, and tide of dark tides will turn the plot upside down to reveal the true cost of stardom -and the lingering shadows of Ai’s death and tragic past.

Final Thoughts

You must check out all these anime for their amazing storylines and in-depthcharacters. I know anime isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but it’s a cup worth tasting at some point, believe me. These most talked-about winter anime 2026 will keep you hooked from January to however long they continue, but a season sure not to be missed.
